One of Guernsey's best-known west-coast beaches, a broad stretch of pale sand with food and drink just across the coast road.

Tides are the same island-wide. These are today’s heights and times for Cobo Bay.
Cobo is a lively, easily recognised west-coast bay. The beach is predominantly sandy, with granite rocks framing and dividing parts of the shoreline. Its west-facing aspect makes it one of the island’s favourite spots for an evening visit and sunset.
Several places to eat and drink sit immediately beside the bay, so it’s an easy choice for spending a few unhurried hours by the sea.
Low water exposes a wide area of sand and more of the rocky shoreline; as the tide rises the beach narrows. Check the predicted height as well as the high-water time if you plan to stay into the evening on a big tide.

Swimming. Sea swimming carries risks: currents, waves, rocks, submerged structures, boats and cold water. This page is for planning and does not confirm conditions are safe.
